Pulte put a lot of effort designing homes that are well-insulated against the summer heat of Las Vegas. The energy saving features of the homes include: 100% Energy Star Certified, Cocoon insulation system, Milgard Low-E Dual-Paned Glass Windows, and HVAC Sealing Technology. The insulation (in most cases) is R-13 Cellulose insulated at 2" x 4" exterior walls, and R-22 Cellulose insulated netted at the roof line. Heating is by gas furnace, air conditioning is via 15-SEER outside refrigeration unit, controlled by digital thermostat. A beautifully landscaped community:

Many residents take advantage of the easy access for walking and jogging around Sun City Anthem. In the evenings you can see people walking their dogs, out for an evening stroll, or coming home from a day of golfing in their golf cart (Sun City Anthem is entirely a golf-cart permissible community). There are trails that wind up into the Black
Mountains on the south-east corner of Sun City Anthem. The Anthem Security Patrol can often be seen patrolling the community streets. Sun City Anthem has its own Fire Station.
The Recreation Centers:
Your HOA fee allows you access to the Sun City Anthem Recreation Centers. These friendly exercise and meeting facilities offer pools, spas, arts and crafts, classes, aerobics, library facilities, outdoor tennis courts, plenty of parking, and golf-cart parking (one of the preferred means of travel in Sun City Anthem). - GOLF - GOLF:Sun City Anthem is built around two championship golf courses, the Lexington and the Concord. The Revere Golf Club offers reduced rates to homeowners in Anthem. Some of the homes offer breathtaking elevated views of the fairways.
Standard Sun City Anthem kitchens feature a GE 30" freestanding gas range (in Series 1 homes), a 30" cook top and built-in wall oven (Series 2 and 3), built-in dishwasher, GE microwave (vented to outside), and Corian countertops to granite. Many homes have upgraded countertops. Water lines for ice makers are installed for the refrigerators. Homes have a soft water loop in the garage, and many have upgraded in the aftermarket to soft water and some also to reverse osmosis purification.
